Messing around with characters of mine, trying to get something I like but not really close yet. THIS WAS NOT THE BETTER ART POST I PROMISED! GRGHGHGHGH!
THIS IS THE ONLY THING THAT MAKES ME HAPPY ANYMORE:
I like the image and feel you should look into ways of giving it a more 3d feel (and by that I don't mean bring out some computer program) but experiment with ways that would display lighting or form in the character. I don't know how of course... a light rub of powder graphite plus erasing is good or adding water to the graphite and then brushing it on.
Odwwart (abbreviated for you hip internet kids and your fancy lingo) is a collection of artist and illustrators who are miserable beings who wish they could turn into slugs but due to limited telepathic abilities are forced to retain their human forms.
Each week one of us chooses a theme and then we find our best way to draw and sketch it out with our own unique styles and perspectives on life. Occasionally one of us will also post art or other projects we are working on to liven up the place.
Odwwart is also fun to say out loud when abbreviated. Go ahead, give it a try!

This might be why I've been liking the copics more and more. It's easy to put on little shades of values here and there.
Still I say, "GRGRGHGRGHHH!" (This is a really fun noise to make out loud btw)
