Thanks man. my colouring has improved though. Those digital videogame paintings I did were kinda weird since I was still learning photoshop at that point. I started to colour now more like I would with a real painting (like having all the colours have a little influence on each other like they do when using wet paint and a pallette and whatnot). I'm going to try and use colour much more often now too.
This is probably my favorite of the bunch next to Josh's pieces. I think this is another good reminder I need to work on coloring more as well as many, many more things.
I don't know if you want to let a non-artist post, but I wrote a poem based on the theme and several of the pieces shared here.
The Right Tone of Day
Don't fail me fingers, I need you now more than ever. You and six strings are all that can save me tonight. Dim light soaks into the sunburst hanging from my neck, the faint electric hum tickles my ears as I stand ready-- ready to challenge my father and his disapproving frown; ready to challenge my mother and her feigned pride in me; ready to challenge the man and his self-importance. I am ready to rock out.
Odwwart (abbreviated for you hip internet kids and your fancy lingo) is a collection of artist and illustrators who are miserable beings who wish they could turn into slugs but due to limited telepathic abilities are forced to retain their human forms.
Each week one of us chooses a theme and then we find our best way to draw and sketch it out with our own unique styles and perspectives on life. Occasionally one of us will also post art or other projects we are working on to liven up the place.
Odwwart is also fun to say out loud when abbreviated. Go ahead, give it a try!

Damn Handre, you draw the most horrifying yet brilliant stuff.

Pfft, the more people that visit the better.
Well I'm flattered anyway :3
